Is that the latest version? Cause i downloaded a version that when i edited a player the game crashed :s

When you're using this tool you need to delete C:/my documents/FIFA08/My Squad.

A crash could be explained by a problem with the security protection of your windows (I met the problem with Vista) just stop the security tool.

As I said check the CM08 thread there's a lot of experienced user who asked questions abouts the different problems met, the Deevelopper already gave a lot answers...

For the version I think that the latest is CM08 1.03.

I don't have my squad on my documents as you can see (i didn't edit anything in the game)
