CM03/04 is to be appon us soon, but where do you think we should talk about it. Last year, for CM4, we made a new 'Older CM Titles' forum for CM01/02 and devoted the main forum to CM4. However, CM01/02 to CM4 was a MUCH bigger jump than CM4 to CM03/04 which is essentially an update. On the other hand, it just being an update may cause less people to buy it and thus more will still want to be talking about it.

I think there should be one forum for CM 03/04 and CM4 together, because the games are much like each others. But the player forum should be for CM03/04 only, or you post in your thread the name from the game: i.e. thread: [CM4] left winger needed.

Nah. I dont think we should move CM4 talk to a sub-forum. Cm03/04 is not a revolution over Cm4, but more an evolution, as was Cm01/02 over Cm00/01(or CM3). So i dont think we need a to move CM4 talk to the older-Cms Forum.

I'm for a shared forum as well. 03/04 doesn't look to be too different from 4, but if it does end up to be very different (let's say: the database has extended features, and players react completely different), we can still decide to split the forum.

i think they should be shared because a lot of the tips for CM 01/02 are still partially relevant in CM4, as are many of the world class players, so i imagine this will be even more so with CM 03/04 as the database will just be an updated version of the CM4 one.

But please, no players forum!! Very few ppl visit subforums. It was much better when we were talking about players in the main forum the good old pre-CM4 times. It's a player/team managment game! We are supposed to talk about players(and the only way to have more ppl talkin about playeers and have more interesting threads). Pleeeeeeeeeaaase

I would leave it as a shared forum. Its pretty much going to be the same game. CM01-02 should keep the older titles. Definetly get rid of the players forum.

Apart from that. All is fine and dandy (H)

Looks like it will be the same forum, unless we get a sudden landslide of voted for the opposite.

The players forum is supposed to be more of an archive anyway, so I am not concerned by its inactivity at present.

but make each thread start with [cm4] or [cm0304]. simple.

Yeah, CM4 and 03/04 should be a shared forum, and if you want the players forum to be an archive why not just lock it and rename it "Players Forum Archive" :confused:
