importing faces into PES5?

hello there,
I used to be able to import faces into PES4
now I made a new ballack face but I can't import it into PES5
I tried using Game Graphic Studio 5.11.11 and AFSExplorer v3.6, but I get errors while trying to import the new face (file not recognized, file imported but not showing up, or all faces showing up weird)
the face is an 8 bit bmp with indexed color and uses the same palette as the original ballack PES5 face

I tried searching for tutorials but couldn't find any
can anyone help?
