hi

anyone knows how can i import folders to .big files ?

i exported eng_us.db from locale.big and edited with new db master (rinaldo) but i dunno how i can import to locale.big again

cause there's a data\loc folders in locale.big

i could add it inside locale.big but not in data\loc inside there

I used DB 11 to edit the players on the db extracted from the .big
On DB 11 it showed it is edited, but in the game it isn't...? what the heck?

it doesnt have to go back in the big file.

leave it where it is.

it only works with data.big files

but it does not work with files in locale.big

Use FIFAFS to import the database back into locale.big

Copy locale.big to.desktop for safe keeping.

Copy locale.big & your database to fifafs folder.

In cmd (command prompt)
Change directory to location of fifafs.exe

Use -ar command to replace database in locale.big with the new one as follows.

Fifafs.exe -ar "locale.big" "data[slash]loc[slash]eng_us.db"

Edit: rename your database as above.

Copy locale.big back to original location.

Works for me.

When I leave the databases outside and delete locale.big fifa crashes.

why would you delete locale.big ?

the exe looks for it, it cant be deleted, but if a file from it is in a folder the exe calls upon after it calls for locale.big, it will read the file after it.

thats why settings.lua works in the game folder, exe reads bigs first to the root last.

@regularcat.
You're right, my mistake.

But if I leave the original locale.big and the new database the changes are not displayed
