I couldn't play my old games in win7 ultimate 32bit. But after I changed to 64 bit in my same PC- most of the old games started to work like FIFA 99 to current FIFA games. Do you use win7 ultimate 64 bit or something else?

Also, I heard that only win7 ultimate has backward compability. And I have no problems in FIFA 09 in win7 even with 32 bit version.

I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

I've recently bought this new computer with its OS and right now I don't know if I can afford another OS. Not to mention all the dabbling with re-installing everything.

I can't understand why FIFA09 doesn't work on my computer. FIFA11 works and so does NHL 04 and NHL08.

I've been trying to solve this problem for months now. Right now I'm accessing the NVidia GeForce forum and support to try to find a solution. Nothing so far. I installed new drivers today but still the same problem.

OK, I have FIFA11 but the tricky and complicated kit updates where I simply can't make player names visible on certain teams plus the fact thats the gameplay feeling isn't as good as in FIFA09, that the CM from hell with lots of bugs is the only available CM version for this game and that the upstart of the game takes too long time have made me totally lose interest in it. Not to mention that there is no good World Cup patch for it either.

I haven't played a single game on FIFA11 for months.

The later games seem to be hellish to edit and there is no good World Cup patch for them either.

Right now it looks like I've finished with soccer games.

I might give FIFA 10 a try if I find a copy of it somewhere. But I also wonder how many different FIFA games I have to buy before I find one who I can edit some stuff easily and works on Windows 7.

The recent weeks, I've actually tried to get FIFA 11 in order but all my work is obstructed by the horrible, bug-ridden CM 11. So if anyone know about a better editor, then I would be very happy because I don't have the time to constantly re-edit the same things over and over again.

I'm also looking at FIFA 14 and some WC patches but it's the same thing there. If a certain club or national team change its kits, if I want to replace one national team with another or a certain player suddenly comes up from nowhere and I want that player in a team, then I want to be able to edit it myself and not sit around and wait for someone else to do it for me.

Well, FIFA 10 is exactly like FIFA 09 though the graphics are horrible. But you can install Duongs graphics patch. You can easily edit FIFA 10 because its the same game with roster update and few tweaks. CM 10 dont have any trouble in editing FIFA 10.
And also, my opinion- don't buy FIFA 14, its just a waste of money. Graphics are very horrible. You can buy FIFA 13 instead. You should only buy FIFA 14 if you just want the world cup patch, but I'll rather play PES 14 with world cup patch.
