after watching the video diary.. I am very dissapointed with speed of the game, it seemed way too fast.. and the ball physics are horrible.

I think they made speed of the game so fast for the video, because they wanted to feet what they wanted to show adn also make the whole video not very long :brow:
Also ball physics may seem bad, because of that fast speed... :sun:
When speed of the players is unrealistic it also make the ball movement unrealistic, dont forget about that ;)

Those two clips ARE XBOX360 clips you can tell the player models and graphics are different then the other gameplay clips they show

i believe there is no any next-gen console gameplay footage clip yet (except those show in E3 and i believe it is rendered)

That is true all these videos besides the E3 one are all current gen. I mean you CAN notice a huge diffrence in graphics. But anyways like I posted in the multimedia thread, I am very impressed by those videos and the diary. They are finally focusing and showing us all the new aspecs of the game instead of one main feature like they did with first touch. They showed us the first touch, the pace deal, skills etc.. I think EA finally listened this year and for the most part we are going to get a very solid game and get what we want.

In the begiing theres close to 2-3 gameplay clips of roda to the world Cup.

I doubt it.. since is supposed to be 2 different teams.. so why would the guy from fifa 06.. talk about the next gen game.. it may have been parts of the intro movie, I watched that yesterday but didnt see anything next gen in it

Yeah Valioso is right, next-gen looks 100 times better then what we see in the diary movie. Also, next-gen FIFA is made by EA Japan, not EAC.

It's not the next gen he's TALKING about it's the clips they decided to just pop in the diary vis thats all. theres two or three clips in particluar that have a definate different look to them and i truely believe because of that and the way the game moves more like We game that THOSE are XBox360 clips. when you watch the tutorials they have completely diferent looking players and grass colors :ewan:

Did you see the goalkeeper in Ronaldinho's goal movie on EA official site. The goalkeepr wouldn't move forward, not even 1 inch till Ronaldinho was like 5 meters to the goal. The goalkeeper only reacted when Ronaldinho took the shot. It was like he was sleeping until then.

It really doesn't look right.

The Gamespot FIFA2006 kmovies are X-Box (or PS2). Looking at the X-Box ones I can see FIFA looks more PES'esque this time out. I'm glad about the player creator/editor upgrade and the commentary sounds good too (Clive Tyldsley and Andy Gray this time, No John Motson or Ally McCoist this time)

Looking good, but from what I've seen of PES5 - still not up there....yet.

well from the Ronaldhinho goal on the official site the keepers still act loke robots. why don't they come out and close the angle down?

also the game still is way too fast. everything seems to move at 100mph!! why don't EA slow it down.

I have WE9 and its early to say but i doubt EA will be anywhere near it.

so does this mean we can even change the scanned player faces like beckham etc ??? The player creater looks very much like 2005 to me ?? which was naff they should have done one like pes

I always like playing on the slow speed setting, more realistic

Seeing all the videos available thus far, the most I'm concerned with is the precision of all the ground and air passes, they almost always seem to hit the players spot on, just like in Fifa 2005...not even the best footballers in the world are that accurate all the time.....hope this will be adressed before the final release...a pass accuracy slider would be good to have
