Improving graphic in Fifa 08 PC

Is there any patch which improve graphic in Fifa 08?
I dont want any new elements, like kits, face, etc. only something which will make Fifa 08 looks better, for example like on this screen:

Hmm that's a screenshot I took in Fifa 07 not Fifa 08 so that's simply my graphics card, no special tools or tricks. I can't help you with this one sorry.

Yes. Import kits, boots, faces, turfs and everything else, that can be imported without changing the DB and FIFA will look better .

u can change the options in config.dat and change the options in nvidia control panel (if u have one) to improve the game i did it and it looks amazing!! better than silencer one xDDD

Yes, I have GeForce card. Can you tell me what changes I should make in config.dat and nvidia panel?

This is a trick that you can do to imrpove graphics. It was the same trick I used:

Did you have your ingame options set to medium ?
if so then what you have to do is-
CProgram Files\EA Sports\FIFA 08\data\cmn
in that folder pick cfg_pc_m or replace the last "m" with the letter you have your game set to - h=high m=medium l=low
RENDER_RATE_MODE = 7

if you look slightly lower you can see the
PLAYER_LOD settings.
select all of them and replace them with this -
PLAYER_LOD_HIGH_NEAR = -1.0
PLAYER_LOD_HIGH_FAR = 0.1
PLAYER_LOD_MED_NEAR = 0.1
PLAYER_LOD_MED_FAR = 0.1
PLAYER_LOD_LOW_NEAR = 0.1
PLAYER_LOD_LOW_FAR = 0.1
PLAYER_LOD_SLOW_NEAR = 0.1
PLAYER_LOD_SLOW_FAR = 0.0
PLAYERHEAD_LOD_HIGH_NEAR = -1.0
PLAYERHEAD_LOD_HIGH_FAR = 0.1
PLAYERHEAD_LOD_MED_NEAR = 0.1

I play on "high detal" level in Fifa 08, and I have this lines changed in proper file (this is called Player Details Patch). I hoped that there is a way to do something with shadows etc. but now I see that this is impossible. But anyway, thanks for help
