I noticed that when a player from my team got injured and was substituted, the substitute player looks like injured even though in the team management there is no indication of injury. Is this a bug in the game? Can any one help or show how to overcome this bug?

Hello Koayts8
Yes this a bug in fifa2002. BUT,there is a way to overcome it.
It works for me at least. It`s something I discovered recently.I will take an example.Suppose you`re playing with Real Madrid and
Ronaldo is injured. You substitute Morientes and you see that Morientes look also like "injured". In fact ,the substituted player has taken the attributes of the injured player. Now,try this.
Pause your game and go in the team management screen
Change the position of Morientes with another player, for example with Raul. Now go back in your game and Morientes should not be "injured " anymore.I hope it makes sense to you
The key of the problem is to switch the position of the players in the team management. You have to do it manually.

Great idea Jomi!

I had never thought to do that...I'd tried everything I could think of to defeat the bug. By the way...the player who subs for the injured player will be stuck walking around for a while...but then will eventually come to life. If the injury occurs in the first half, the sub will walk around until halftime. In the second half...it usually takes about ten minutes of clock time...which can be real frustrating when you lose one of your strikers late. But with your suggestion Jomi, we may not have to worry about it any more. Great work friend! I'll have to try it out.

Cheers,
