hmmm.....sounds interesting seeing how Lucio is young but i dont know if hes the kinda of player Cuper REALLY wants....but channel 4 isnt the greatest place for news.....i think what they basically do is read quotes from verious people and then create a little story line with it and say it might happen...they could write soccer fiction novels

The point of why he is demanding so much is because

A) He can, he is one of the best defenders in the world

He has stated numerous times he doesn't want to leave Bayer, and thus it would take something special to get him to leave.

Lucio is class but i see him at Juve next year. I think Cannavaro is good player (i never realised how tall/old he was).

There is no doubt he is a world class defender, it is just that he is very stubborn. You can tell that by just looking at his face.

We did come very, very close to signing him but I am happy we got Chivu instead.

I don't get it, why do people consider Inter such an Argentine side? We have 3 Argentine players in Almeyda, Crespo, and Javier Zanetti and a Argentine coach in Cuper so what gives? Anywayz IMO I hope we sign either Lucio, or Mexes because we need a young strong tall defender, especially with an aging backline...
