He's squandered a lot of chances in the last couple of outings (a lot of crucial sitters)......I can see him burning out right in front of my eyes, man. Every game from here on out is important...there's no longer a respite for us. Doesn't matter if it's a big name team or not, they're all important and he's gonna have to be rested sooner or later.

We can't be soooo overly dependent on one player, besides, Cruz is classy enough to get the job done.

Hey Oscarpuma9. Nice to see another Inter fan on the boards...

Anywayz tomorrow is the big game against Valencia. It will definately be a tough one. Sure we won 5-1 last time at the Mestalla but we have had a first hand experience of how after thrashing a team we can get thrashed in the next game against them (vs. Arsenal last year) though we are definately in luck. Aimar, Vicente, and Ayala, arguably their 3 best players, are out for this match. This advantage should definately be exploited.

I think Mancini should try using 2 DMs in this match, Cambiasso and Davids, and possibly use Recoba and Veron in the mid ahead of them.

Here's the lineup I'd love to see...

------------Adriano----------Martins

----------Recoba-----------------Veron

------------Davids---------Cambiasso

--J. Zanetti----Materazzi----Cordoba---Ze Maria

------------------------Fontana

Favalli, Emre, and Stankovic are out for this one...

Don't worry guys, We're gonna lift the CL title this season.

BTW, Veron and Stanko need to be benched ASAP! Give 'em some rest and bring in Kily and Recoba.

Well Veron is banned for this up and coming match and Kily is still injured. Recoba should definately get some playing time, especially with Adriano out of atleast 1 CL game. Karagounis should replace Veron while Van der Meyde and Ze Maria deserve some time as well.

Man there is so much juggling of players to do!'

Though I definately agree that Stankovic needs a rest.

Serie A Week 10 - 7/11/04 (15.00)
Fiorentina - Inter

Stadio Artemio Franchi

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Roberto Mancini is still smarting from the home draw with Lazio and must now face another of his former clubs – in-form Fiorentina.

The Inter Coach was expected to challenge for the Scudetto after an intelligent transfer campaign, but with seven draws from his first nine games he is already 12 points adrift of leaders Juventus. The giants cannot seem to hold on to a lead in Serie A and will have to do without the suspended Juan Sebastian Veron in midfield, while Christian Vieri and Nicolas Andre Burdisso are also fighting to be fit. It’s likely we’ll see Andy van der Meyde come into the midfield, while Dejan Stankovic and Obafemi Martins return after they were rested against Lazio.

The Viola could not be welcoming Inter at a better time, as caretaker Coach Sergio Buso has been given a semi-permanent status following two convincing victories on the trot. The 4-0 demolition of Lecce showed the potential that this squad had in the summer and Martin Jorgensen will be eager to score against the club that courted him for many years. Christian Rigano is still out of action with that thigh problem, but Fabrizio Miccoli should be fit despite being stretchered off on Sunday. A victory here would undoubtedly keep Buso on the Fiorentina bench and put some serious pressure on the previously untouchable Mancini.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fiorentina (probable): Lupatelli; Delli Carri, Viali, Dainelli; Ariatti, Maresca, Obodo, Chiellini; Jorgensen, Nakata; Miccoli

Inter (probable): Fontana; J Zanetti, Cordoba, Materazzi, Favalli; van der Meyde, Cambiasso, Davids, Stankovic; Martins, Adriano

==================================

A must win game to keep our slim Scudetto hopes alive.

Here's the formation and lineup I'd love to see...

----------------Adriano---------------Martins

--------Stankovic-----------------------Van der Meyde

------------------Davids--------Cambiasso

------J.Zanetti---Materazzi--Cordoba--Ze Maria

-----------------------------Fontana

Inter drew again and are the only unbeaten club in Serie A I think... but they are 11 points off the pace despite an impressive squad...

Well, Inter is intent on throwing away the season. Juve loses, and they blow it. I know Fiorentina is gaining form, but you gotta win these games. And ya, to whoever said it, i bet Inter beats Juve when they play next month. Thats just the way they are. At least they have the CL to fall back on though.

hmmm lets see.

8 wins, 1 Draw, 1 "loss" (2 goals disallowed, a clear penalty not given, time wasting by Reggina etc etc etc)

25 Points

vs

2 Wins, 8 Draws. EIGHT.

14 Points (haha! Lecce, Messina and Udinese all have more)

So i see no reason why my mouth should be shut. Im simply stating the obvious.

But don't worry, Lord Adriano will save you.
