Whats got you down about Pinilla going to Celta Vigo Curro? Chievo were treating him like crap and he didn't have a realistic chance if he came back to Inter, so the best thing is to loan him out for some Euro-experience....

Oh and BTW Ice, I care about Inter, so screw your comment and screw Juve, Inter 4 life, to hell with Ju-GAY...

Signing God and still lose... what are you smoking :junior:

No I wouldn't Curro. Pinilla is talented but he lacks experience. Also he hasn't done well at Chievo either. He needs not just a form raiser but a spirit raiser since he was treated like trash at Chievo and that is why he wanted to move so much.

If Pinilla were to come to Inter now he would be benched. With Vieri, Cruz, Recoba, Martins, Van der Meyde, heck probably even Eliakwu infront of him for starting positions he wouldn't get any starting time....

best thing is to loan him out and see how he turns out in the long run. If he is good, bring him back, if he isn't good enough sell him for cash:mrpimp:

Inter Fans Expose Anti-Moratti Banners

01/18/2004. Inter fans have shown solidarity with Christian Vieri and attacked the club's President, Massimo Moratti, following a week in which Vieri and the club came head to head.

During today's league game between Inter and Empoli, the nerazzurri fans exposed some unflattering banners towards Moratti on the stands.

One of the banners read "After years of defeats, 'dear president', the only hero is the Inter public" while another more explicit banner read "Moratti leave".

The fans also backed Vieri with a banner saying "Bobo cannot be touched".

Ugh, what a mind numbing game. I watched it on RAI international and...:-puke: . Sorry to say, but inter were just plain trash, I dunno if it's written in the stars, but inter just cant seem to succed. Managers like Hector Cuper, and even Lippi(who manages a great club now) have passed through the club, yet each time it's like they stay the same sucky way.

Empoli deserved to win, Di Natale was a pest in their counter attacking, and he was unlucky to hit the post like that. Kinda reminds me of the Wolves game.

Parma demand Cruz for Adriano Sunday 18 January, 2004

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Parma director general Luca Baraldi has confirmed that Adriano will not be released to Inter without receiving Julio Cruz in return.

“This is a club with dignity and objectives for this season,” announced Baraldi, “and we must respect that. So if we agree this deal then there must be a player included as well as an economic aspect.”

There were reports in the newspapers that Inter had rejected a request for Cruz (pictured) on loan until the end of the season, but the Gialloblu transfer chief has now confirmed those claims.

“We are trying to keep Adriano until the summer,” he added, “but it won’t be easy as Inter are pushing us to hand him over immediately.”

The Brazilian returned to full fitness after three months out with a torn thigh muscle and scored on his comeback in last night’s 1-1 draw at Udine.

“There are more meetings planned for next week,” concluded Baraldi, “and at the moment I’d say the transfer is in the balance.”

The fact that Inter want Adriano now – as confirmed by both Baraldi and Nerazzurri President Massimo Moratti – suggests that the end is nigh for Christian Vieri’s time at the San Siro.

IceBlu can you change it to Inter Milan thread? Inter thread looks sorta... crappy... just like the squads performance vs. Empoli.

The ratings of the players on the official site were correct but ludicrous. The highest rated player was Toldo and he almost got a 5 :o IMO its ridiculous how the squad lost and IMO the Scudetto hunt is done.

Its either concentrate on UEFA Cup or Coppa Italia and win those are nothing....
