Hey, I don't know, but there are several different versions of o-edit, which one must I download? And then what do I do with the o-file I got from the resource thread? How can I see my kits?

Ah.......a little help please?

Ok, after tinkering around whit o-edit I finally figured out how it works. I wanted to ask you guys, while doing a search I found a very old thread called "Fifa 07 3D Kit viewer" and I wanted to ask, did such a program ever come out? You know, one specifically for kitviewing?

Lastly, is there any major difference between .png and bitmap files? Is one larger than the other?

Btw. Thanks Ruud for giving me those sites!

Hope to have some "revamped" kits soon!

What do you think about these?

well, put them in 768*768 because there might be some details or junk things we can't see in 600*600...

well, I can see that lots of things are clearer now...but some logos are still a bit too big (H, W or both)...

and now your work is clearer, we can see that you don't use a good technique for the making, what you have to do is to put a layer template on Multiply at the very top and at the bottom the rest (logos, color...) as Normal: each logo will take the form of the template...;) I can see that BPU logo seems like pastic bag...

difference between bmp and png: png is lighter than BMP, png can support transparency...;)

for Kit viewer check on kitmakers ressource thread (file .o) and here is maybe OEdit for you ;)

program: you should take The GIMP, it's free, light and very good...;) that's what I use

Thanks sooo much, Lpayer, you really cleared A LOT of things up...I'll take your comments into consideration. Which logos do you consider too big?? The one on the front I think is good...do you think the ones on the sleeves?

Tortwartgott, I'd love to do seams...just give some time to figure it out...I know there's a tutorial for it in the resource thread but that's for photoshop...right now I'm tinkering with PSP...

Im very sorry for this...but...what's the GIMP?

I am very grateful for your help

Sorry for the doublepost…

Here are the updated Albinoleffe kits, H/A/GK. Now they look more realistic, no?(:/)

About their designs, yes, they are simple kits, but the clubs are small too, therefore the kits aren’t going to be overly complex. Sorry if they seem too basic, but I can’t help it, it’s better than the EA-made ones…:p

Hey, a question about o-edit…when you open the o-file and you see the different parts, which parts are the ones that alter the collar and socks? For example to have a long-sleeve kit preview you highlight parts 0 and 2, and to have a short-sleeved preview, you deselect them.

Thanks for all your help, hope to have more kits soon!:D

to use correctly OEdit, open the .o file, go to Perspective square (blue background), View->Full view: now you have only this square...now View->Parts->Show all Parts: now you have all parts...

now deselect parts 013 to 016, part 082 and then select the collar you want (parts 043 to 049: 43: round, 44: old school+V, 46: V-neck, 48: old school, 49, rolled-up. Don't use 45 and 47, they are holes...) and deselect the sleeves you want to make disappear (000 and 002 long, 001 and 003, short)

well on the front you should reduce the height of Albinoleffe and alittle bit the height of BPU...I think the logos on the sleeves are good, just reduce it proportionnally

on the shorts, just put the Albinoleffe logo towards the blue design and reduce a bit the width...

for the GIMP, it's the image editor for Linux. Donwload this version, that's what I use...;)

The green neck thing I decided to make it a style of mine...you know...just a way of identifying my kits...

I appreciate giving me those sites...usually the club logos I got from wikipedia and the sponsors I got from google images...

the green neck simply sucks let me tell you this!!! you can put your nickname like where i put mine... don't make your kit look worse putting that green neck!

Ma dai!!! Perche sei cosi!!! Picky, picky...

By the way, do you have a high quality hartlepool logo? The sites you gave me didn;t have one

Lpayer, what did you think of them? Look, my logos, they can't be THAT horribly put on...? I mean come on...you people will barely play with these clubs, as long as they look good in the game, what need to have them down to PERFECTION!?!?

Plus, the green neck won't even show in the game!!

Btw, Lpayer is that program you sent me for Linux users only? Or can you use it in Windows XP too?

Lpayer

well, it's not because we play only a few times with those teams that we must be careless about them...

so for this kits, you should move up your logos on the front...and take off the white outline of Arezzo logo...or change the logo...

the logos on the sleeves are way too big...

and those logos are always pixelised and the Serie A TIM logo on long sleeves is very very blurry...

you can use the GIMP on Windows XP, yes...;)

and for the green neck, although we can't see it in-game (wrong, because we can a bit see it), it's very ugly as BMP: when we arrive on this thread, your eyes are just attracted by this...

way to improve!! KM !! :)

Ok, here is a better Hartlepool Home 08

Btw, do you guys like the GK model that I posted before or should I make the GK like this:

I'd will update the gk either way...

My problem is that I don't know how to cut logos sharply enough as the experts do...
