International Tournaments

Hi. I'm playing the PC-version of FIFA 07, and I can't find out how to start an international tournament, playing for example a copy of the World Championships? Am I blind, or is this not a possibility in FIFA 07?

There are no tournaments in the game already so you would have to use the custom tournament feature or create one yourself in CM07.

Which Tournaments are you interested in? I am planning on Rereleasing the national teams with some generic tournaments as I have time to do so. These downloads should become available as early as this week.

Sounds interesting, I'd definetely download that.

But, the reason for my primary question was that I've tried to make a custom tournament with the national teams, but all that's available is league-teams. For example, England isn't available in a tourney, but all their teams are.

How I missed something apparent?

Typically you will be able to use either club teams or national teams not both. So If I put DC united in a created tournament it will not allow me to add a brazilian team... EA should go ahead and try to explain why.

It may take me a little while to get the national team tournaments out because I just lost a lot of updates that I had done and I'm still working on the 1934 World Cup patch but if you can tell me which tournaments you want, I can probably get them done for ya.

I get rather busy too so if you know anyone that wants to learn to edit, lemmie know. Can always you the help.

Well, the problem is, I can't select any national teams at all! Only clubs are available!

I'm not sure why.... but either way it won't affect you with tournaments created for tournament mode.

The first dialog within Create Tournament has an Auto Fill Tournament option. To create a tournament featuring international teams you either need to set that to No or leave it at Yes and change the Auto Fill From option to International. The game does not let you mix club teams and international teams.

I'm not interested in mixing them. Even though I set auto-fill to no, I still can't select national teams.

And it's not because there's an error on my disc and international teams are not in the game. I can play single games with int. teams just fine. Help(:/)

EDIT: Wee. Just worked it out. After countless tried, I went in, said "International" in autofill, created a tourney, went back, set auto-fill on off, and tried again. It worked!
