What internet do you have?
I am in UK, I have NTL. But I wish i had Telewest Blueyonder, but they aint in my area.
This what happened to me:
The internet went offline on 9 December, that day I thought it was some connecting problems, I did everything I normally do when internet is offline, like switching off the cable etc. On 10th my mum phoned NTL, and ntl said its because we didnt pay bill for the internet in october, but they rechecked noted that we payed. They said it will be back in within hours, we waited and the internet was still offline.
We phoned them the next day, they ended up saying we need to to pay the the reconnecting fee, £50. My mum was like no way, but she ended up paying £50 on 15th December. Ntl told us the internet will be back within 7 days.25 Decermber was the 10th day, 27 and 28 were bank holidays, so i expected it back on 29 or 30th december. The internet was still offline on 30th December.
We phoned them again on same day, they said they are not going to reconnect our internet, till we payed Phone bills. Well let me make it clear, we dont use NTL phone anymore, we use BT phone, infact my dad told them(a letter aswell) 3 months ago to Disconnect the phone, still they havent. They actually did it last week or so. My dad phoned (0n 30th december) them telling them that he does not use the phone at all, they told him it will be back. My mum phoned the next day, NTL was asking her for Cable No, Internet speed, why would they ask that when they just told my dad they will connect the internet??
We kept phoning them, last week they said the internet will be back Monday (yesterday), still NO internet.
Still no damn internet, I have to come to library to use internet
