Is FIFA08 not working on a laptop?!

I think its true my dad bought an new laptop, and I installed Fifa08 and gameplay went very fast and its was not fun to play

Mate, you can play the game prefectly on a laptop!
However many people have the issue that gameplay is too fast, and that is because usually when playing this game, your laptop must be plugged into its A/C power, not battery power. Then it works fine...

I have a problem playing fifa on my laptop. sometimes, it runs normally, but sometimes it runs too fast, even when it is plugged in (so strange). so I play it on my other computer :P...
