I disagree

I think it is a big improvement over Fifa 2001, and I enjoy it a lot, there a few areas which need some work, but I am happy to own it.

Its a worthey game, Much better then any fifa since 98. I have MLS extra time (ISS) and love that too, there are pluses and minus to both... I love em both.. not like the people on here bitching and moaning about things.

No your giving your opinion, there is no fact, no right or wrong. I like both of them. I can see why somone likes Fifa, I can see why someone like ISS. the only FACT here is that 2002 is the best fifa since 98 and if any fifa truely SUCKED, it was 2000. Which was the biggest joke in the series.

yeah its very realistic..when your players are called no.1,no.2,etc..and your team doesnt have its real kit,or real stadium flags...

In answer to your question it is the most realistic FIFA so far, and no, you don't get 8-1 scorelines anymore, with normal and hard mode, most scores are about 1 to 3 goals a game now.

realistic????

If FIFA 2002 is realistic I'm Roberto Baggio!!!

1) The PCU scores regularly from 45 meters distance perfectly in the upper corners even if the PCU team is Uganda;

2) Both player and PCU hit the posts 6-8 times a game

3) The PCU players run continuously all along the field only with 1-2 passes without any problems

4) Every team has the same way of playing

5) Dribling a player is quite impossible even if your player's skills are all 7

6) in 80% of the cases your defenders are frozen when the PCU forward receives a cross i.e. you can move them too late to stop the opponent

7) your shoots are either too low or too high

Am I wrong guys?

No you are not right, I have very competative games, and yes you are right about the long shots, but if you are at all any good it is very EASY to stop those shots but cutting odwn the midfield etc.. You probably suck pretty bad at the game... ut I respect you OPINION, to each their own, But be fair here just cause you suck at it and let a silly team get all those shots on ya, dont blame oit on gameplay. I know I'm play 6 mins halfs, most of the time I hold teams to about 5 - 8 shots, so they hit the post a bit often but it makes up in other ways.. its a good game, the best fifa ever, well since 98 at least. And I am also a ISS fan so dont give me the same old "try ISS" bs, I have heard and seen it all, I like both, they are both good. IT is worth buying and it will last you well more the 3 days.

I haven't really had this happen and there are ways to defend this

2) Both player and PCU hit the posts 6-8 times a game

Again haven't seen it too much playing 4 minute haves

3) The PCU players run continuously all along the field only with 1-2 passes without any problems

you can intercept these if you time them correctly without too much trouble

4) Every team has the same way of playing

I'll give you that one. They all do play the same way.

5) Dribling a player is quite impossible even if your player's skills are all 7

I disagree with this one.

6) in 80% of the cases your defenders are frozen when the PCU forward receives a cross i.e. you can move them too late to stop the opponent

give you that one too but again you can adjust and stop them

7) your shoots are either too low or too high

Shots are only high if you have too much power.

"1) The PCU scores regularly from 45 meters distance perfectly in the upper corners even if the PCU team is Uganda; "

Not regularly ... just every now and again for me - about 1 every 5 games in the Premier league

"2) Both player and PCU hit the posts 6-8 times a game"

The CPU either scores, is saved by me, or misses in my opinion - although at times I do hit the bar like 3 or 4 times in a row - but it adds to the fun and excitement (and frustration) as if it is one of the days that you are having a shocker (all sides have it), so I think this sometimes leads to realism of that bad day!

"3) The PCU players run continuously all along the field only with 1-2 passes without any problems "

If you play smart and watch the 2 players playing the wall pass it is SO EASY to cut them out and run into open space!

"4) Every team has the same way of playing"

How do you mean? Each side has different formations - often I see it change in the game from attack to defence and vice versa eg Man U where van Nistelroy goes back into defence for 5-4-1

5) Dribling a player is quite impossible even if your player's skills are all 7

Huh? Are you serious? I find it easy to dribble the ball around the park, and get round players part of the time (its not like you are supposed to get pass every time!). Hint for you ... use sprint to help!

6) in 80% of the cases your defenders are frozen when the PCU forward receives a cross i.e. you can move them too late to stop the opponent

I do agree the players do freeze, but switching players or sprinting gets you back in time to stop (or you can always charge the attacker with the keeper!)

7) your shoots are either too low or too high

Shoot too low? I have not seen a ball that is too LOW to go into the net, but I have seen it go too high ... after I overpower the shoot bar! BTW can anyone properly explain the shot directions when in Tower camera - I have it sort of worked out but not entirely!

Am I wrong guys?

I think you are about 1 out of 7 correct, so that must mean I think you are wrong ... but then again this is only my opinion!

Cheers

Aj
