For me, it's about the state-of-the-art. :D

Because state-of-the-art is about : players' dribbling, smart through passing, short/long accurate passing, magnificent G.K.'s saves, deadly shootings, & of course the unity of 11 players to play compact together. :p

see some people do consider it a religion i remember reading somewhere a while ago that in argentina the people were so intact with their teams stadium that when they destroyed it to build a new one all the fans were crying and filling the rubble in their pockets and stuff. so what im trying to say is they did see it as a sort of temple and as sort of religion is also possible. (not to me though)

It's like a religion in some ways. its very important, and life revolves around it :D. but, yeah, its not a religion but a way of life

I think its almost like a modern day religion for a lot of people, you go to worship every saturday afternoon, 3pm, it can shape how you feel for the rest of the week, and above all, its the only thing that is constant throughout your whole life - your team, you will always follow them through thick and thin.

Football is more like several different religions with common rules.
Every club has their "gods", "shrines", legends and holy days.
Happy 12th of March!
