Is it possible to use a control pad for PC version?

alright, i got the game yesterday, and at first it didnt work, and i couldnt figure out why, after speaking with Liam about my problem he advised me to take out any control pad i had in my PC, the game then ran fine (even with a GeForce 2 440 MX LOL!!) but does anybody know if i can use the game pad?? coz my keyboard makes my PC beep if i press 3 buttons at the same time, which leads to me being owned on defence, any help would be great.

Of course, I guess most of us use gamepads. If your particular gamepad causes performance issues you might want to check whether you got the latest drivers installed for it. Further I recommend reading the threads on speed problems and experimenting with the suggestions. Most people with slomo problems own MX vidcards. But even with a killer machine (mine is P4-2667, 1gig ddr333, radeon9700) you can get slo-mo sometimes, even without running other apps in the background.

PES3 PC= brilliant gameplay, but horrible porting!

Another tip: auto-save your career, because my version tends to crash to desktop once every few hours. Very annoying if you didn't save your latest matches.

nah speed is running fine, i have it set 2 640X480 low detail, could probly go 2 the next screen size but i dun wanna risk it.
I will check on the drivers, thanks for your help man.

It doesn't have to be your gamepad, also. Running PES3 with a GeForce2 MX is tricky business. Just because you got it running smooth on one occasion doesn't mean you will always get the same result. It apparently has to do with either vsync or the refresh rate of your monitor. Maybe you should check out the threads on that.

i had a problem too

i have 2200+ ge4ti 4200 256ddr 400hz
mobo abit nf7

point is with demo my gamepad works brilliant geinus g09d
but with full version it doesnt work any more cause its something bugging it... :(( and i'm now forced to play with keyboard which is awful

maybe the point is in usb.. cause my gamepad is on serial port / gameport not usb version :(
