Is Pro Evolution Soccer 6 Worth Getting?

I really liked Pro Evolution Soccer 5, but is there a difference between the two?
I got a new computer with:


and when I played Pro Evolution Soccer 5, with 'High' setting, it was amazingly squarey and slow. I really couldn't understand why. Does this happen to Pro Evolution Soccer 6? and is there a major difference?

As for the poll,just take a look at the pes forum and fifa forum(number of people watching) and you will have your answer...

The answer is yes!

I'm running it on my 3.4ghz Pentium PC (2GB RAM) as well as my Dell 6400 Inspiron laptop that's got a 1.6 GHZ (1 GB) Centrino Duo chip in it.
It runs flawlessly on both, and I am running the latest Kitserver with all of the latest patches.
Granted the level of detail on the PC is higher than the laptop, but the lap top still looks excellent and runs without any freezing, lag, etc...

if you were to ask me which is superior id say pro evo 5, this is because my strengths always lay in passing, tackling and ofcourse weaving with Ryan (giggs that is). but with what i see as the developers making game far easier to run with the ball and near impossible to just take the ball off someone :f***: dont tell me to go n practice either because i know im not too great at it yet, but i guess i can only get better

but i do like the commentary despite the fact there are only about 3 different phrases i ever hear

"ohh thats a super jinking run :Carlos*o:"

"ohh and hes saved another." "i think their wondering what their going to have to do to beat the keeper today"

and "i hope were going to see some action this second half" oooOOOOoohhhhHHHHhhHHhHHOOohhh u question my first half performance again trev and i will be parading ur head around on a stick :|

it should run fine on they spec i have a 1 gig procesor and 512ram and a nvidia geeforce 6600 graphicscard and it runs gr8 both on and offline

Anyways.. I'm getting this tomorrow so I'm finding all the gr8 patches for it this evening so i can have a good 18hrs of PES6 tomorrow

However... I have to run the game on medium spec for best perfermonace unfortuantly as my pc should really have a pension by now

Oh well... Next year i shall have a monster rocking pc that will even make me coffee!

Can't wait for that and PES6!!!

Dunno but should run, anyway you could have better computer, i assume it's a laptop, you should have got one with Core 2 Duo processor and a dedicated memory graphic card cause looks to me that you have a shared one...

I have a Core 2 Duo E6400 with 2GB memory, X1950 PRO 256 GDDR3 and i run the game at 1280x1024 with AA at 4x and AF at 8x in high perfectly, 60 fps constantly without any break or stuttering, the game can't run better cause it's a ps2 port.

This game is definitly a must-have. MUCH better and far more "alive" than PES5. It also beats WE9LE for that matter.

Oh and the game has absolutely nothing to do with the released demo (as usual). The demo was dull, slow, idiotic, and pale. The exact opposite of the what PES6 is...

Still, they only change the gameplay, the look is always the same. I'm starting to lose hope in seeing any real change (e.g. pitch, camera view, massive animation overhaul,...) in any future releases of the game including the next-gen ones...

Yes! It IS definetely a must have. For me it is far better than pes5, i just love the animations and the realism in some situations.. i am like 'this was just like on tv last match vs..' ..the game has really great moments, which i could spent all day long in the replay mode..
