umm just a simple question

i have all teh fifa's and will prob by this on regardless of all the views here

but i have cheated a bit and bought the WE7 game and i quite enjoyed it

i luv the game play how its so fluid and its soccer

where as fifa 2004 was impossible defenders could not be shaked even if u were henry and one v ones were no such thing

is teh new fifa game play like WE7 or what is it

haha, yeah, and this comes from a fifa fan that a year ago was saying fifa 2004 was better than PES3! :crazyboy:

Played FIfa '05 over the weekend, and it is indeed a massive improvement and a very good game.

In my honest oppinion though, the 'core' gameplay (ball physics, animations, passing, etc) still feel loose and the players a bit skatey.

I think the scores in most magazines tell you the story.

Fifa '05 - 8/10 - Very good

PES4 - 9-10/10 - The best football game around, still.

Although Fifa is improving, so is PES. The reason people will say Fifa is catching is because it is better than it's predecesor, but it still has masses of work to do on it's game engine to competet in gameplay terms.

Any help? :)

mag scores don't say anything. my mag gave driv3r a 80% rating, i bought and was the fuc.king crappiest game i've ever played, UTTER CRAP. But i can say without a shadow of doubt that pes is way better than fifa. :jambo:

Just got FIFA 2005 today. It's a big, big improvement on 2004 and the first-touch feature is great. It's also now possible to beat a defender using skill moves (right analogue stick). In 2004 it was impossible to beat defenders for pace, and the skill moves weren't as effective. The skill moves have been greatly improved and are more player-specific.

It's a lot harder to score now and 30-yard rockets into the top corner are a lot rarer than in 2004 (though my friend managed to hit the crossbar from inside the centre-circle today!).

The main flaw though is the corner kicks. You can't go in and attack the ball and the keeper gets it nearly every time.

i returned my game cus it s**ked! crap corner kick system. every player runs, shoots, passes the same. Career mode is not that great. First touch is useless. i play on world class and it doesnt help cus i manage to beat teams like arsenal and man yoo 5-0. so sad:kader: First touch was just another marketing ploid to fool FIFA fans.
