is there a new codec for windows media player?

ive downlaoded some avi files and they dont work neither with WM player 10 nor VLC... is there a new version that came out in the past week or two? if so, can some1 point me to it?

Also when u download the plyr u will get all codecs u need and it will work for WMP.

even VLC doesnt work with some files... should i host the files to show u which?

Yeah.......thats not the real link actually. This 1 will work fine. But you might want to consider what Kibe Kru said....could be ultimately the real problem.
