Is there a trick to scoring pk's in we7?

In 5 pks i was awarded i only scored once....is there a trick to it? I usually use square and the dpad to place it....I even missed one with Beckam....just wondering...

personally i use the analogue stick to tak pk's, it's more precise :)

anyway, yesterday i lost 13-14 at pk's yesterday, almost all the team shot twice :p :D
