is there a way to change background??

There is but ive forgotten. Dont put to many in though or youre cm wont load up. That depends on how much ram you have though

Yeah, it slows down your computer, and it isn't that important. I don't even notice them. I only see the text.
I put Ricky Tomlinson with the Liverpool lads in my background permanantly by doing this:
1) Copy the picture (in *.jpg form) into the data/graphics/backgrounds/default directory
2) Delete the original default.jpg (save it if you want it)
3) Rename your file default.jpg
4) Set the options to no background change
et Voila!
I haven't worked out how to get a changing, if you put more than one into the default directory and set it to background change it still goes around the clubs in the /clubs directory. If you delete that folder the screen just goes blank.

yes i did what is posted in here but like i said it didnt work

So, you replaced the original with a new pic, but it shows up gray?
See if it is exactly right: name = Default.jpg, in the "/cm0304(or cm4)/data/graphics/backgrounds/default/" folder.
Try opening it in your image editor, see if it's gray in there. If not, save it again, overwriting the previous pic. Make sure it's saved as a jpg, not just a bmp, a psd, or a psp named default.jpg.

If u see a gray pic always, then it's probably a bug, or a mistake that u made that makes the game not work the way it was supposed to work. The best thing u can do is to uninstall the game and then re-intstal

Do make backups of your savegames, just in case. No need to start all over again.
