what was Keane's injury ?....and what was Vieira's ? just curious cause i dont really know....and im not saying that man utd didnt deserve it last year i just think that Vieira is one of the best players in the world and if he plays fully next year he will help them win....and the reason why i believe that is cause i think Vieira is more important to Arsenal than anyone is to Man utd...but like i said i only believe that cause i rate Vieira so highly as a player...i hope u understand what i mean

I don't care, because I dont think they have been the best team in England for three years.
However, they are going to hit the wall soon enough

United may very well hit a wall, but at least they'll hit the wall later than another team which demonstrated this year how to walk into one with both feet inserted in mouth!

Vieira is more important to Arsenal than Keane is to Man Utd, because Paddy is better than Keane.

Paddy injured his knee, he was playing on it fr awhile, The team decided that risking him was not worth the title, and ask him to lay off...he was determined to play, as you saw him vs. Man Utd, Keane tackled him hard, hurting it worse, thus he was replaced by Edu (later on Ray Parlour) and out for the rest of the season.

Keane injured his hip i think. But he shouldn't be an excuse, Man Utd could've bought a top notch backup over summer with all their money. Arsenal don't have this luxery, however spent wisely to be Gilberto.

no cause they missed him a lot of the season and still almost won the title....what it means if he plays 90% of the games i think they will win b/c i believe hes better than any player Man Utd have which would make him very important to Arsenal winning the title wouldnt it  ...just had to put that there

We did not only lose Keane, but also Veron with his fragile condition, Brown, Neville, etc throghout the season. The difference is that we don`t bitch about that like Arsenal fans bitching about how they lost their title because they lost players through injury. They lost their title, simply because they`re too arogant, and thinks that every team should let them win and not to play defensive against them, they suck in mentality.

well.. if i remember correctly he just missed the final part of the season i think which isn't a lot but the most important part of that.. it isn't only him which cost arsenal the title, suspension to campbell is another factor plus other injuries to their defender...

Man utd at the begining of season had
Nistelrooy(everone forgot!), Keane, Butt, Neville, Brown, giggs (at one stage) Veron. and if you remember we played a weakened team against arsenal in december, with no beckham keane butt etc. We won 2-0 with Phil Neville winning over patrick Viera with a marvelous game. The reason we won the title is because after December we drew 1 (with arsenal) and won the rest, where as arsenal drew most of them. We won the title because we wanted it!

I thought some1 might have pointed out to the Smart Alec who speculated what will happen in 2005 that in all likelihood Thierry Henry won't be playing in England by then.

And NO!!!!!!! I'm not a Man Utd fan

What like Silvestre the 'frog eater', or perhaps Barthez the 'frog eater', what about Blanc the 'frog eater' and lets not forget your transfer targets this off-season;

Escude (the 'frog eater') and Bellion (also a 'frog eater').

I wouldn't throw around biggoted phrases about the French when you have French players on your team. (not to mention it's not very nice)

So, Ljungberg, Lauren, and Cygan getting injured in the same game is called choking? On top of Paddy, and Franny already injured.

Senegal is a former French colony I believe.

Have you ever been to a meat processing plant? Pigs, Cows and Chickens aren't exactly the cleanest animals on earth and they aren't 'processed' too cleanly either.

Don't judge.

EDIT: I can't believe I have to add this - but, you do know that not ALL French ppl eat Frogs legs, just like not all Americans eat Hamburgers....oh wait, bad analogy.... ;)

And to keep this on topic, no United's 'era' is not at an end - Becks didn't play too much last year anyway - he had only one more assist than Diouf (who apparently had a crap first season in English football) and yet they still won the league.

No, their 'era' is not at an end, they will continue to do well domestically.

ARSENAL were affected by injury????????
I'm sorry, but I believe it was Manchester United that had to face Newcastle, Liverpool and Arsenal in quick succession, with weakened squads, as mentioned earlier, and we came away with 9 points from those fixtures.

When Arsenal did have their 'crisis', they were facing...Bolton and Southampton:|
When they were missing Pires and Ljungberg through injury at the start of the season but were flying at the top of the table, they didn't seem to need any excuses did they?

Give it up Gunners, we won the title last season.
