OK, I bought FIFA 2002...yes, I actually paid real money to get my hands on it. I've played it for 2 days and whilst there are a few nice touches, boy does it suck ass.

I decided to have a game of ISS Pro 2 on PSX and it brought a warm glow to my heart...the depth of gameplay, the tactical battles, the defensive strategies, man-to-man marking, the patient build-up to create a chance, the subtle changes of pressure and possession.

Ah well, I lost 2-1 but I felt that I had been in a genuine game of football. Frankly, the AI opponent deserved the win.

I also lost a few games at FIFA 2002, usually to a 50 yard rocket from the touchline...very realistic...i hadn't realised San Marino had such talented players.

ISS Pro 2 on PSX is soooo far ahead of FIFA 2002 in every way except one....a proper league set up.

If Konami would only allow us to create proper domestic leagues with all the club sides and promotion and relegation, etc, I would need no other football game.

ISS PE2 has much better ball physics, AI, tactical options, control, and even better player likenesses than Fifa 2002.

And the funniest thing about that is that ISS PE2 is designed for a machine (the PSX) which is clocked at 33Mhz and has 2 MB of RAM.

Then look at the specs for the average PC; at least 500Mhz, P3, and 128MB of ram. All that extra horsepower and the Fifa programmers just sit around and shit out Fifa 2002.

I just tried to find out howmuch RAM the PS2 uses, but the only interesting spec I found, was that the CPU is a 128 bits CPU.
Who can tell me howmuch RAM it uses?
