Iss2 = Winning Eleven 6 = Iss Pro Evolution Soccer 2?

Can somebody explain the situation between these games? Is Winning Eleven 6 (NTSC) the same game as ISS 2 (PAL)? From what I read it should be the same game but as I understand it W11-6 also has national teams in it? What about Pro Evolution Soccer 2?

Ok, here's the way I understand it.

Winning Eleven 6 is now released in Japan and nowhere else.
It will be released in Europe around Nov but under the name of Pro Evolution Soccer 2 (PES2). Hence it is the same game, but will have a few updates added to it for the European market.

ISS2 is a completely diff game which is made by the same company. It is more of an arcade soccer game, still better than Fifa, but not as good as PES(winning eleven 5) or PES2(winning eleven 6).

Hope this helps

The above explanation is correct with the addition that ISS Pro Evolution 2 was made for the PSX, a game by Konami CET the same company that made the Winning Eleven and PES games. ISS2 (arcade style game) is made by Konami CEO.

Ok. I understand. But ISS2 can´t be a "completely" different game, the screens I´ve seen from Winning 11 6 looks pretty much exactly the same as ISS2 which I own. To me it seems like ISS2 is something like a stripped down version of winning 11 6. Also, in the IGN preview of WE11-6 the author writes "European gamers, however, can look forward to seeing WE6 under the ISS Pro Evolution name sometime in the near future". Very confusing by Konami I must say...

ISS Pro Evolution and ISS are different games made by different companies. They're both released by Konami but by different companies inside Konami. Konami CE Tokyo does the great Winning Eleven and (ISS) Pro Evolution games. Konami CE Osaka does the arcade style ISS game.

ISS (KCEO) is far from as good as the Pro Evolution games.

Yep, ISS2 is a completely different game, still much better than Fifa but has some resemberlences, PES is by far the best IMO
