Well Toni would most likely come to Inter with that verdict... Hopefully he is welcomed as an Italian hero in the world cup!

Neither did Fiorentina or Lazio.

I think Roma was 2nd in 2003-2004 and ever since Inter was 3rd behind Juve (1) and Milan (2). Fans are not going to react too well to this.

Well, the punishment should fit the crime...and if everything is true, and I'm sure it is, then they get what they deserve. It's unfortunate for the fans but they'll get over it. Besides, most people in Torino hate Juventus. Torino will finally be back in Serie A so there will be matches at Delle Alpi next season. Things will be very different. Palermo is now in the top 5 teams of Serie A. Inter will finally win another scudetto.

Doesn't seem like winning Serie A's gonna be much of an accomplishment anymore.

Well if all these charges (and previous investigations) are true, then winning Serie A never was much of an acomplishment was it?

I thought Torino played in the olympic stadium.

Torino will return to the Olimpico this season yeah, Juventus fully owns Delle Alpi now and they're rebuilding it next season, and will play their again from 2007. Next season both Juve and Torino will play in the new Olimpico, Stadio Grande Torino.

Might want to put those stadium renovation plans on hold Juventus. That's going to cost a lot of money and I don't know many people who are going to pay to watch Serie C games.

Nobody pays to watch them in Serie A

This doesn't go far enough. The problem with Italian football is not that there was match-fixing. That's a symptom. The problem is that Italian football culture is rotten to the core. Corrupt clubs, gambling players, crooked officials, violent, racist, flare-throwing fans . . . relegating four teams won't fix this. Here is my plan:

- All Italian clubs must be banned from UEFA competition for 10 years. On top of this, Juventus, Milan, and any other team guilty of match-fixing must be suspended indefinitely until they return any profits made from the Champions League or UEFA Cup to UEFA.
- All Italian referees must be banned from UEFA and FIFA competitions for 10 years.
- The Italian national team must be banned from participating in any tournaments and friendlies up to and including the 2014 World Cup.

Nothing but hitting the Italian federation hard in the pocketbook is going to reverse Italy's shameful record of corruption, violence, and racism.

I hate the outrageous racism in Italy too, but you can't take that into account. Yes I think suspending Italian refs would probably be a good move by FIFA, and I think forcing clubs found guilty to return profits is also okay (although I don't know if I would go that far since you can't determine how much was made as a result of the corruption), but banning the National Team is too much. No allegations have been made against the Italian FA or any actual players, as far as I know it has been club executives.
