so why exactly Milan didnt get relegated? If they fixed games they should get punnished just like the others teams involve.

So I am hearing different things.

Are these teams out of Europe for three seasons or just one ?

Can someone confirm with a link ?

What f*cking BS. Great, the 27 time champions will be in Serie B for probably the next 2 seasons. And Milan? Just some points deductions.

It depends on how they were involved.

Maybe they didn't break the rules to the same extent. Obviously breaking them to a bigger extent requires a bigger punishment, thats why Juve have been punished the most. But the fact AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi has a massive amount of power concerning media within Italy, and being (former?) prime minister maybe demanded some leniency towards AC Milan. Milan also had 44 points from there league position last year deducted, therefore they weren't runners up lol, wat an empty punishment. But being removed from europe and given a -15 point deduction is still a devastating punishment. Lots of revenue will be lost from being outside of the champions league.

And if one of these courts breaks the rulings of the FIGC, then they can pay us big time compensations for not attending to the Champions League... an error they can just fix in time with the verdict for the appeal, due around the 20th of June.

Have you Milanists ever heard about gratitude? ;)

Thought you meant 29... Seriously, what's the relevance of boasting this particular fact now?

Other than that, condolences to the fans of the relegated teams (in particular to Fiorentina :(). BS like that is good for no one.

As it seems, though, the only club which has a good chance to face deep troble on being promoted is Juve. -30 means the would, in order to match the performance of this year 6th placed club in B (Cesena, last to get to the playoffs) the would need to earn 96 points, some 15 points more than Atalanta (Serie B Champions) got last season, or 76% of the possible points. On the other hand, last season Juve attained 80% of possible points, which means...oh wait... :$ (Still, pretty much possible unless the squad is fully dismantilled).

Now that punishments are properly set, best of luck to everyone - just keep the faith...

This sucks for the fans of those clubs and for Serie A as a whole. I hope they all climb back to the top as fast as possible by playing good football and not buying refs.

thats probably reflective of the fact that Moggi was suppoedly making dozens of calls about the officiating, while Milan were reported to have made one.

In any event, while I feel bad for you Juventini, 29, 27 or however many titles doesnt mean a god damn thing if you havent been playing by the rules.

And I do feel very bad for the Viola fans out there. Just back in the bigtime and now this :( Thats beyond heartbreaking. Nazio's players I feel somewhat bad for, as guys like DiCanio play for the love of club and not just the paycheck. But their fans make it hard to feel sorry for them

I think Fiorentina and Juve will be ok in B, and should be back in A next year, but does anyone think Lazio might not be able to make it back with the deduction? Or would they still tear B up anyway?

Still, you post every trasnfer rumor goal.com sh*ts out, how can you blame people for not being excited about getting a Pirlo or a Nesta? Take that as a compliment, and then have a damn drink and calm your nerves, because your lot just dodged a big bullet

For all I care Lazio can rot in B for the rest of the club's history.

And I think Lazio will do ok. Their players arent that big time yet they do decent in A. I guess their players will play in B as well.

I expect some like Behrami and Oddo to leave though. Others will probably stay.

As a result, Inter will now be joined in the Champions League by the next best-placed teams in the shape of Roma, Palermo and Chievo Verona.

Palermo in Champions. It's kind of like winning the World Cup on penalties, it's not the way I wanted it but I can't complain. I don't expect them to go very far but they have improved this offseason. At the very least, they' should make it as far as last year's UEFA Cup run.
