Paredes is on the bench. He has been given a few chances in the first team but he has never made an impact. its tough because Reggian already have Baiocco, Tedesco and Mozart as defensive midfielders.
Milanista, are you aussie??? You put Grella in your list for Emploi. If you're not Australian thats good news. I always thought he was good, but i can never be sure becasue im biased with aussie players.

However the situation of the new Fiorentina isn't simple.
It had a lot of debts (not so much like Lazio or Parma.. but they are still in Serie A
) and managers couldn't register the team in 2002-03 Serie B season. The society AC Fiorentina failed in september. But in the summer Dominici, Florence's mayor, had found a new team, bought then by Diego Della Valle, called Florentia Viola. They couldn't call it Fiorentina and the team was relegated to sere C2 (fourth division). Florentia won the championship and Della Valle bought the logo and the name ACF and Fiorentina. So he called the new team ACF Fiorentina and finally the team can now wear our loved purple. With the big troubles of italian Serie B (from 20 to 24 teams for Catania case) Fiorentina is returend to its place, Serie B.

fiorentina doesnt deserve the spot in serie B, it was f*cking insane from carraro to put them in there, the team should be in serie C1 (third division).
how in the world could a team jump a division without even playing it? nonsense.

You're right viewing the situation from a point of view: THIS fiorentina (so the neo borned Florentia) shouldn't be in Serie B, but also, Serie C2 was a strange decision: Florentia was put there for sport merits but.. it was founded only some days ago! If Fiorentina failed, they had to start from "Eccellenza category". The situation is not very clear. But also.. why old Fiorentina with a big but not stunning debt has been failed, and Lazio and Parma are still in Serie A? Why Cosenza has been rejected from Serie B for his late payment and Roma and Atalanta are still in their leagues?
The situation is wrong since the start of it. Fiorentina could be saved, like Lazio and Parma (and a lot of other teams that are in bad economic situations..), but her old president, Vittorio Cecchi Gori (idiot
) was not too fun for Carraro & co., so they decided to destroy the team. Then, Fiorentina in Serie C, and Lazio in A with more than the double of debts was unaccettable also for a blind, so they "repaired" the situation with this horrible Serie B placement. Most of Viola's fans (me too) preferred C1 than a B in this way..
