If Italy win and Denmark ties Sweden, then it would go to goal difference. Sweden' s pounding means that they are healthy in that department. It would then depend on how many goals Denmark scores and how badly Bulgaria gets beaten by Italy. Italy have to score plenty and win. They could squeak through on goal difference but they have to win BIG !
If there is a result in the Sweden Denmark game then Italy does not have to win BIG but THEY WOULD STILL HAVE TO WIN !

sweden didnt deserve nething. did u watch the game? the zlatan goal was pure crap and a lucky bitch is he. only 22, that don't make him ronaldo. if nething, hes more overrated than vieri. if u saw the 1st half, italy definately deserved a win

You have to understand the frustation of the italians. I mean Italy played one hell of a first half. They were playing with such confidence, rarely missing a pass and providing us with some magic by Del Piero, Pirlo and Cassano. If they had another striker instead of Vieri they might have scored more goals. I dunno what game Trappatoni was reading, i think his substitutions were all wrong. He gave the match control to Sweden, when they could have just easily controlled the match till the end and hit the Swedes in counter attack. He just gave up on attacking and didn´t have a single player on the swedish midfield.
Sweden played very well in the last 15 minutes and did what they were suppose to do, but i dunno if Trapattoni didn´t start playing in a 7-2-1, Italy might have won.

The best scenario for Italy will be a Sweden loss and Italy win but Italy must blow out Bulgaria and have a higher goal difference.
I'm dissapointed with the subs trap made but I felt as if we deserved to win that game, especially the way we played the first 70 minutes. We played just as well the final 20 but Sweden went on full attack and as Italians, we want to stop it. The goal was more luck then skill but a beauty nonetheless. Hell I would've wanted Vieri to stick hands up and grab that ball before it went in, Buffon could've stopped the PK

yeah... he made the right choice of coming to ajax (too bad I don't get to see much of ajax here in canada).... I still remember the day I read the article about him choosing ajax over another team...forgot who that team was...anyone still remembers?
I hope he can stay another year with ajax...him and vdv play one more great season together then maybe it is time to go on... thanks zlatan for your time with Ajax.....just don't go to a team I dislike...
