thats so true. i wanted to make new players, or change players stats which are clearly wrong e.g. christian chivu (ajax) sinisa mihajlovic (lazio). There should also be a mode where you can call up players to a national team!!!

Plus the graphics are always more top notch on PS2, except when you have the Radeon whateveryouchamacallit.

most games that came out for xbox and pc.. had the same graphics on both... like example splinter cell...

haha keep dreaming ;) X-Box graphics are just 640x480 or 800x600 with a hell of a lot of antialiasing!! PC graphics can go up to 1600x1200 and still get decent framerates, if you put the x-box up to 1600x1200 it would just die.

the tvs have low color depth... not the consoles... it all depends on which tv you are playing at... if you play on a HD TV, then you'll get great graphics... I saw a comparisson between the xbox graphics of splinter cell with those running on a pc.. and they were identical... people forget than when companies create games for pc.. they have to make them for the medium level consumer to reach more people.. not everyone has a high end pc..

but if you have a high end pc, splinter cell is far better on it than on x-box. The graphics are crisper, the textures more detailed, and the game smoother. PC's cost 5-10 times more though, so you'd expect them to be much better. I'm not saying x-box, ps2, or ngc are bad products, just that they are cheaper in every sense of the word.

Also, don't forget when they make console games, they are programmed to not go above 50 or 60 frames per second depending on if it is the NTSC or PAL version so they don't damage the tv's they are being used on, whereas on PC's you can get hundreds of frames per second if you have good enough hardware. I've seen so many games on x-box and ps2 struggle to keep steady frame rates, and cos of the upper limit, it's really noticeable when it drops.

And don't be niaive enough to believe that games manufacturers make games for middle of the range pc's anymore! Games companies make their games for the latest and greatest pc's and just give the other gamers options to turn off some of the details. Some even run badly on purpose (Unreal 2, Unreal T2K3) because they are being funded by NVIDIA who want you to think your current GFX card sucks so you buy their latest one!!!
