itv digital what a lode of crap. they put most of the nationwide clubs into administration. the money lose it not just because clubs by $hit players for a lot of money, or a club paying a couple of mill on a player and that player never playing for them. i blame it all on itv digital hang them up to dray.

SKY are the best for Live coverage !!! it has been awesome for the last 10 years. With Andy Gray and Richard Keys ... excellent stuff.

However for highlights I prefer ITV. coz you get to see all the action on Saturday nights. PLus I prefer "The Premiership" to "Goals on Sunday" ... coz all they do on the last one is chat and it does my head in when you could see 10 times more action.

so a mixture of both is required.

Sky are best for live, because they have more but the BBC does some good live football coverage now, and itv do a good job with the Champions League even though Lynam gets on my nerves.

ITV's football is crap in comparison. 'Football Focus' is better than 'On the Ball', 'Match of the Day' was much, much better than 'The Premiership' too. I haven't seen any Sky 'highlights' programmes, but 'The Premiership is on for 90mins, you probably get 30mins of adverts, 30mins of football and 30mins of punditry. 'Match of the Day' had about 30mins more football coverage.

Telewest Digital is just the same as Sky, but different packages, but u can get almost the same channels anyway. and Telewest is miles cheaper.

yeah it has to be said that Match of the Day was simply the best ... and it' sa real shame that big money was the winner as alays .. nad that all the footy highlight swent to itv

BBC beats ITV and Sky hands down. Sky might be good at live coverage, but that's only because they got so much of it. BBC, whenever they get coverage, are still the masters.

They have the best commentators (Barry Davies and John Motson), best pundits (Alan Hansen and Mark Lawrenson) and an anchor who is very knowledgable in the game himself (Gary Lineker) unlike Des Lynam whose only use is to please old grannies, it seems.

Just get on with it!!!!!
Also hate having to stay up so late to watch it
I often just get up in the morning to watch the repeat

Its a bit better now from an Everton point of view in that we aren't always on last regardless of the score!
