I dunno, the more I play, the more poor it just all seems...

I wouldn't mind so much if my players actually played anything like professional when off the ball but it's just pitifull.. Pro Evo 1 is better than this -apart from the sticking bug in PES1 your players actually work for you.

I've just watched my players spin around wildly while the ball is right at their feet for the last time, no matter how much I try and look past the abysmal AI and at what the game *is* good at, it still frustrates me that all my goals are all ending up looking the same, and defence is pretty much laughable. The ball rolls *through* your players feet who are off the ball and they don't pick it up. why? Loose balls are ignored by your players.. Players allways start sprinting in the wrong direction as a ball is played to them, meaning they never get to the ball first. Recovery is far too slow. the list goes on and on.

And that progressive crappness of you players in master league is just the icing on the cake.. PES is not a simulation of football as I used to say to everyone, it's just as much an arcade game as fifa.

I'm really sad now :(

u are crazy ... this is by far tghe best soccer game of all time... i dont like only the kicks... the players do a terribnle kick, u fill just a litle of the power bar and the kicks go to the moon

That's all crap! I don't have any problems, my defense is OK (Vornander, Dulic... ...), every third match defense makes a little mistake, so what, it's normal!

I have to agree with him on some points. Couple things I don't like are how the kicks go the moon with just a bit of power (already been said) and the players all run around like they are hyper and on LSD.

I have never seen anyone move so ... icy, it looks like they all have something shoved up their anal cavities. Mind you, FIFA 2004 everyone looks like they are hunch backs when they run... lol.

I just wished the player movement was more realistic. I like how the dribbling works, the passing and stuff... but again, the shooting, and the tackling is poor.

All in all, I think if you took FIFA 2k4 and PES3 and merged them you'd get the best game ever in terms of a footie simulation.

I play each seperatly for their own different goodnesses.

no way guys, I reckon the shoting system is spot on. How do you explain the great players in real soccer booting it over the goal? You gotta develop touch and know the player you're shooting with. You can't take off balance shots, you gotta take it easy on the shoot bar when you've got space to wallop it (half way will blast it over sometimes with good players) and press it harder when there's little room for the shot...I love the system (hated it at first)...

and the shooting, passing, heading animations (dezens of them) are nearly perfect. Look at the body positioning, the swing, the follow through, the dezens of different shots, the volleys, the half volleys etc. etc. I see no problems at all with this...

The shooting doesent always go to the moon, learn how to shoot. Most of the time you only need to tap the button even from long range and shots depend on your facing, player's shot power, ball position and momentum, just like real life. I do wish you could more closely control the elevation of the shot tho, sometimes I want it low and rolling across the ground and sometimes high but you cant really control that, like fast rollers even from long range that Makaay does alot.

I think the passing system does need some work, many times it passes to the wrong person when you are tighly grouped and the players seem to pass the ball too lightly most of the time especially when you are trying to pla it back to your keeper from close range.

good second point keemo, that needs a little improving...the easiest passes sometimes go weak and fcuked up...this should happen, but less frequently.

Well, I pretty much agree with him. Anyway I had much more fun playing WE6 ((Jap versions, not International) or WE6FE than I had playing WE7.
I still like WE7, some of its new features are really good thats why I'm still playing it, but WE6FE is simply the best yet.
Anyway, some of you blast SkuzzBag like if u were Konami. Calm down, it's his opinion, grow up.

i really can't understand skuzzbag's comments, i think the AI is pretty damned solid, my players spin around at the wrong moments but i just play with the analog button on and it stops the player spinning, as for the defence well once you have setup your players properly there are no gaps in the defence, you know we get a pretty much perfect soccer game at last for the pc and some people still are not happy, lets face it with people like wolf and andy and kibble about who needs the licence, these guys deserve a lot of praise for what they have acheived on pes3, i actually played a game of fifa 2004 the other day, belive me my stomache started to turn while playing it, if people think that the players in pes3 lack certain skill and moved badly, just look at the players in fifa2004 and if you think their better than i suggest they play fifa instead.

Proevolution 3 really does rule the roost, and anyone who actually believes fifa2004 is better gameplay wise as got to be blind, my opinion!

I think the shooting is great on the game. I think it could be a bit more accurate at times. I've had some of the greatest players on the game taking a shot unpressered and it going off for a throw in.

rightclick on your shortcut on desktop, then go to properties. here it must say C:\Program Files\Konami\Pro Evolution Soccer 3\pes3.exe ... i think you 've got C:\Crap\Fifa\fifa2004.exe........:crazyboy:
