I've got a prob...

I was playing around for the first time with faces for FIFA2004
{for those who don't know me, I used to make many faces back then}
all I did is unpack rivaldo's files, change the texture
and import it on another player {already excist id.630}.

now, this year it got 3 files instead of 4, doesn't it?
face texture, hair texture and one .o file.

but when importing it to another player,
ingame he got this green\red Art Pack texture...
plus, in close-up, it seems he got no head...

any idea what went wrong?

have u compressed the files u imported? :$

i know this sounds silly for an expert like u, but maybe u forgotten it :$

these are the comands in the bat file {tho' I've tried to import it manualy with ea graph as well}
gfxpak -u zdata_04.big player____model60__112_0_0.o etc.

or even compressed:

gfxpak -p1 -real zdata_04.big playertexobj.texobj11__texture12__630_0_0.fsh playertexobj.texobj11__texture14__630_0.fsh player____model60__630_0_0.o

try to import it with EA-Graph and them manually compress it with BigGUI.
Those bat file infos you gave don't say a thing to me but the screen for your first post - that's just what it looks like when the texture is not compressed.
Last year there were three 3D-files (head, hair, extra) and two textures and you didn't need to compress the to make them work...

Yeah Shlomy, I had the same problem, but then I imported it with BigGUI, selected the imported file and compressed it Edit>Compress).
It should work now.

I had the same problem, I called him "graffiti Man!" after a while and named him that too!

thanx for the help guys.
I've imported all rivaldo's original files to another player with bigui
{import, then goes to each one of the 3 and compress it}
and it worked.

however, when changing the texture and then importing
graphity man pops out again...
so it's must be something with the way I'm replacing it,
but as seen on the screenie above,
I'm saving the fsh file the same as the original...
so what {TF} is it then??:confused:

Hmm, why don't you use FootballMatch Faces Importer? It's in Italian I know, but I can help you there, I can speak Italian :)
Download it an let me know wether you do or don't understand it.

Here's the answer:
the end of the SHPI (FSH file) has a label so the copmuter knows how to arrange the textures in memory.

what you CAN NOT do:
edit playertexobj.texobj11__texture14__111_0.fsh and then renaming it to playertexobj.texobj11__texture14__638_0.fsh - this will not work

what you need to do:
export playertexobj.texobj11__texture14__638_0.fsh from zdata_04.fsh and edit it - then import it
