I've got bacon in my undies

Allrighty then folks. I've opened up this thread in order to find answers to 2 questions that have been on my mind lately.

Number 1:
I'm moving to the USA next month, and I was thinking about taking some Icelandic alcohol with me when I leave. What I want to know, is how much alcohol can I bring with me without having to pay toll when I go through customs? I've googled this and all I found was info regarding Norway, but I need the USA info.

Number 2:
I've been thinking about a possible brand for a breakfast cereal. This brand would be called Petty Officer Bacon, and would consist of bacon flakes, covered in chocolate, with marshmallows. You would pour milk over the cereal, or cognac, which ever you have. So the question is, would you buy Petty Officer Bacon if you'd spot it in the supermarket?

First: I think they charge you for any kind of consumable product, I'm not sure, though.
Second: I have now stolen your idea and copyrighted it.

1. I hope not, here in Iceland the laws are that you can bring one liter of spirits and one of wine, or either of those liters and 2 sixpacks of beer or 3 bottles of wine

2. I have now sent an army of bacon eating, Huntelaar loving, praying to Messi's goal guys who see me as their Messiah to your house...

From what I can see, you are allowed 1 liter of liquor, and then pay a tax on anything more. I think it's a small tax, like maybe 4% of the value. However, this might only apply to U.S. residents coming home from abroad. I think you're safe with 1 liter or less. Anything more and you'll either have to not declare it and take your chances, or just pay the tax.

1. just bring a whole lot, hide it well and don't declare it. romanians do it all the time when they come over here with liters and liters of palinca :jap:

I might try to smuggle it, I saw this adult flick the other night where the guy was accused of smuggling something and the customs officer chick made him strip down and then have sex with her, and since adult films only portray possible real life events, I'm going for it...

the cereal is absolutely brilliant with cognac, but it must be some really expensive cognac, no VS crap here, nothing short of Extra will do, I recommend the Camus Extra, or even perhaps the Otard Extra.

can't eat bacon without chocolate and marshmallows, it's like watching Messi's goal without Huntelaar, eating ice cream without butter, or watching Jim Belushi without wanting to scratch your eyes out, insane

I was actually thinking somewhere along the lines of a cross between his character in Footloose, and his character in the Woodsman
