Those statistic comparisons are retarded. The PS2's been out for over 5 years. Practically everyone in Japan owns one already. And the PSone is outdated. The other systems are crap (except XBOX).

It's a bastardized version of the GBA. I think it's made by Bandai.

nah, all three consoles have their strong and weak points.
As for the xbox being a failure in Japan, it might be because of the lack of RPGs and other types of games that appeal to their market.
The xbox had the number one sales for a week or two though; it was when DOA Beach Volleyball was released in Japan

Very true.

The number one reason for XBOX's failure abroad is due to lack of Japanese 3rd party support. These Japanse developers aren't willing to make exclusive games for XBOX (that's how the Dreamcast failed). All they're really doing is porting games and such.

according to GamesTM's stats the PS2 actually has sold more than the GBA since the end of 2003, though whatever the exact figures one thing is for sure - The japanese hate Microsoft.
