Jerky...Jerky...Jerky ---Fifa 07 pc

So with the help of this forum (Thanks Def tones)and ea's I've gotten the game to run pretty smooth- except for jerkiness during gameplay - not cutscenes- which kills it for me - now I'm just getting ready to buy a 360 in a few weeks.... but I thought someone may have an idea -

I have an ATI 9700 - and use the current omega drivers
1.7 dothan chip and 512 ram

I play on 800*600 resolution (anything higher causes tearing)
Full details (no difference on medium or low)

in the data folder - I have render mode at 2
and have disabled depth of field

Thanks - and BTW there is a patch coming out in the next 1-3 weeks...

I know ir'a maybe not what you want to hear mate, but is it not about time you updgraded your pc? A 1.7 is pretty crap for games nowadays, I upgraded mine about 3 months ago to a 3.2 with 1 gb ram for under £300.

you are right, but when you are dealing with a game that is not very demanding like FIFA it should not make a difference....his setup should be able to play this game...
