OMG - I just saw the new "Costumes" thing in PES6 that you can get in the PES-Shop. It's SO funny, PLEASE make a "costumeserver" module - think of the possibilities for wierd, wacky and wonderful costumes that could be added! :lui:

Question Juce... Will you be able to do to the non-existent unlicensed kits in PES6 what you did for the non existed unlicensed mini 2D kits in PES5?

Juce,

Just out of curiosity. How much can u read the konami code???

For example one of the annoying things in PES5 for me was the automatic side step. So I am curious about knowing whether things like that can (potentially) be changed.

Ah one more thing, i remember you being a PES3 fan. What do u think about PES6??

Got mini-kits working, and also 3d-kits for licensed teams.

(Using PES5 kits for testing, so that's why France's kit has a problem at the badge area)
Now trying to figure out how to do unlicensed teams...

Great work Juce!

You should create a separate thread instead of this one, so that you can update the first post whenever there's a new release.

well, essentially, it's reading an assembly language. So anybody with a reasonable understanding of i386 instruction set and a debugger can read the code to that extent. The problem, of course, is that it's so low level that you don't see the "big picture" - in the other words, the trick is to find out where exactly you should be looking for if you want to change something. So, for me, that's the fun part of it - figuring out a strategy to track down some particular logic. In that aspect, finding the LOD levels in PES5 was the most satisfying adventure, even though as a mod itself it may not be that impressive or even as widely used as say kitserver or ballserver modules. I'm sure the dribbling tweaks would've been fun to do as well... :)

about PES6, to be honest, i'm undecided... yes PES3 was fun, but it was the first one on PC, so of course it's like the first love - you forgive everything. I think PES6 is definitely far more advanced game than PES3, and i don't think i can go back to PES3 or PES4 after playing it. Whether it's an improvement over WE9LEK or even PES5, that remains to be seen... i'm not convinced it is. Perhaps, it'll take time to adjust, as usual.
