hey hey, just won the premiership with leigh rmi, conference team, ill take a screenshot of the team, its not been edited in anyway, i just got all the old premiership players on free transfers and got all new coaches, 2 from brazil, has anyone else had anythin like this cos im in season 06/07 in cm 01/02

I'm very close to hitting the second phase of my CL with my Rushden squad, I suppose that's pretty close. I agree with you about buying good Premiership players that are out of favor, it's the way to go.

I've won the treble (Champions League, Premiership and FA Cup) + the English League cup in one season with Rushden and Diamonds. I just got as many people as I could on free transfers and snapped up out of favour prem and european stars. Another good idea, if you're patient, is buy players who've just had a massive injury. True, you have to wait 7-8 months before he can play but they usually come cheap. (e.g., Raul got a massive 11 month knee injury and I signed him for Millwall for £4m in my third season.)

for people who took low teams to prem

hey this is a question for those of you who took a conference or third div team to the champs league. how much money do you have in the bank, and how big is your stadium. do you have as much money as a regular prem team or a lot less? also when does the board decide to increase capacity? when you get into div 1 or prem or champs?

With my Rushden squad I had £17m to spend in my first Premiership Season. My stadium had been expanded twice, (once in Div 2, once in Prem). After the second capacity was 42000 with adequete facilities. The board decide to redevelope stadium if the attence reaches over a certain percentage of the capacity (on average) though I can't remember what this is. Hope this helps.

That is very impressive considering they start in division 3, and there is no way you could do that after one season as you claim.

My first season in the EPL, even after the TV money, I was in debt, and ended a couple million in the red, then next year I finally started to turn a profit, and I'm in November of my second EPL season and have 25M or so in the bank.

My board never expanded the stadium until I got to the EPL, and they expanded it twice that summer (which was part of the reason I was in debt). It's different for everyone. I currently have a 20100 all seater that hosts European Champions.

When I say all in one season a mean all in the same season. It was 2009 when I actually did it. I had been in the premier league one year before but only won the UEFA cup and the English League Cup. I came third in the premiership and got an FA third round draw against Arsenal which I lost 4-1!!!!

thanks for the replies guys, rite now im on top of div 3 by a lot of points (thank you www tactics ) gonna play middlesborough in semi-final of league cup and in third round of fa, im really looking forward to going up cause my wage bill is almost 1.5 mill a month and i am not making any money, but board says im building fan support so i guess they mite expand in summer. also what division would you have to be in to be regarded for the england manager job? or any nat'l team for that matter.
