Seriously, how often do teams come right out and say, "yeah we're definately going to sell Player X to this team." I've followed world football for one calendar year now, and in all the transfers during that time were either denied or supposedly laughed off.

The one i remember best from last year was Parma stating "Cannavaro will not be sold" That was like a week before they announced the deal with Inter
