You guys could of bought him for 5m € because of the rights you had on him but you never paid it. The date passed and know we can sell him to another team or Benfica can still make another offer.

But i read something that if Juve goes to Serie B we can get him for free, i mean, that we have the right to have him if we and he wants... Sounds stupid, but you know, Portuguese media... :(

I lost my hopes on getting him again :(

Pessotto rushed to hospital
Tuesday 27 June, 2006

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gianluca Pessotto, the new Juventus team manager, is in a serious condition after a freak accident in Turin this morning.

Reports suggest that the former defender, who only retired from the game this summer, fell from a second floor window at the club’s headquarters in Corso Galileo Ferraris.

Pessotto has been rushed to the Molinette hospital with what, at this stage, seem to be serious injuries – even if not life threatening.

The former Torino player was only appointed as team manager this month after Alessio Secco was promoted to sporting director.

The news has also reached the Italian national team camp in Germany today. Captain Fabio Cannavaro, a teammate and friend, left a media conference this morning when told of the incident.

Pessotto spent 11 years with the outfit as a player following his move from city rivals Torino.

The full-back, who won 22 Azzurri caps, won six Scudetti with the Old Lady and the 1996 Champions League.

It doesn't confirm anything. The man might have been doing the rosary on the balcony like most people.

still the point remains, he fell out of the window, now he either had to be drunk like mad, or he jumped, or he was pushed. or maybe he just tripped somewhere and fell out. i dont know, ffs, this is f*cked up.

I dont think it has anything to do with the scandals.

From what I've read, its mostly because Pessotto feels that he didnt make the right decision in retiring from the game.

He feels that its much harder to work behind a desk than it is to work on the pitch.

This apparently made him depressed.
