November 19th 1995: a 17 year old Buffon makes his debut in Serie A vs. Capello's Milan.

The interview at the end is priceless. He hasn't changed a bit. So much confidence and charisma for a 17 year old... Legend.

The creator of this video for Gigi Buffon deserves a shot at making films in Hollywood. Note the seemless blending in of the noise of the gardener's equipment and the beautiful piano soundtrack, an obvious reference to Juve's graceful massacre of Milan and Inter this season. And what about the brilliant use of the 'Godfather' lighting set-up (unlit eyelids) once thought of by cinematographer Gordon Willis. Art.

I dont like it when countries hold their domestic cup final after the Champions League final. The CL final should be THE last club match of the season.

Well this is disappointing. Hey, it's our first final since forever, let's play Borriello and the second goalkeeper.

Juve doesn't owe Storari anything. I never got this second goalkeeper nonsense and it was even worse in the times of Chimenti.

Anyway, Napoli wanted it more than Juve, kudos to them. They didn't let Juve cause any meaningful trouble.

(And now Quagliarella shows himself to be a bad loser by elbowing Aronica.)

Can't believe this has to be Ale's final game. :(

Forza Suarez! (ps brotha can you spare a dime?)
Congrats Napoli, fully deserved. It just looked like it was gonna be their night the way they came out.

Storari

Well, so much for that.. :(

The way Lavezzi is celebrating makes me think it was his last game for Napoli, and he'll go to Inter or PSG. If that's the case, then we can kiss the Cavani dream transfer goodbye. No way Napoli will sell them both in the same transfer window.

Not too sure about that. Juve could offer them Matri or some sort of construction with Giovinco + money. Could be tempting for them.

Yeah I agree. You play the best team! The best team in earlier cup matches is perhaps the #2 keeper because you want to give your #1 a break. But in the Cup Final, play the better player.

Is it bandwagonning if I support the next club he plays for? He's oen of the major reasons I loved Juve as a child :(
