Yeah, he's not worth that, but that was the price we agreed on with Udine last year.

Also, I'd sell Marchisio to Monaco if it's true that they're prepared to offer 30 mil for him.

I wouldn't, who else is home grown? De Ceglie?

Yeah, I don't really care about the home grown stuff. Pogba will bench him in no time and better sell him now while he's hot.

Forza Suarez! (ps brotha can you spare a dime?)
Umm, we have to care about home grown for the UCL.

UEFA defines locally-trained or 'homegrown' players as those who, regardless of their nationality, have been trained by their club or by another club in the same national association for at least three years between the age of 15 and 21. Up to half of the locally-trained players must be from the club itself, with the others being either from the club itself or from other clubs in the same association.

De Ceglie, Marchisio, Giovinco, and Marrone meet the quota for four players brought up by the club itself.

And it's foolish to sell Marchisio, such a cack idea I don't why it's been floating about in the media.

Send him to Barça if you don't want him, we lack of this profile of midfielder.

Serie A only lost 1 CL place not 4

What does that have to do with it? Don't tell me Juve's shots at entering the CL lie with Marchisio's home grows status, come on. If we're going for Kolarov then that means Asamoah will be benched, most likely moved back to his natural midfielder position. And we already have Pogba, Marchisio, Vidal, Pirlo (even Marrone) fighting for 3 spots in the starting lineup. I just don't want to see that hideous 3-6-1 formation again.

We'll probably start this season with MVP in midfield but with Conte's "Only the most in form players start", it's just a matter of time till Pogba benches Marchisio, who let's face it, isn't called Casper for nothing. Love the guy but for a 30+m offer, I'd let him go.

I meant that Xavi would push him out because he isn't a passer like him and doesn't deserve to playvat Barca, blah blah.

So which homegrown Juventus player would you replace Marchisio with in our squad? Effectively weakening it no matter what because despite however the 30m is spent you still have to add another position in the squad with someone like Beltrame

Why do you see it as weakening our team? On the contrary, if we put the 30m to good use, eg. getting a world class support striker to partner Llorente, I can see our team being much better. Our midfield is already world class, even with or without Marchisio.

I'd rather have a:

--------------------Buffon----------------------

----Barzagli--------Bonucci----------Chiellini------

Lichtsteiner----Vidal----Pirlo----Pogba----Kolarov

---------------Suarez----Llorente---------------

Than a

--------------------Buffon----------------------

----Barzagli--------Bonucci----------Chiellini------

Lichtsteiner----Vidal----Pirlo----Marchisio----Kolarov

---------------Vucinic----Llorente---------------

And no, I don't like the 3-5-2, just saying.

Squad, not first team, I agree the XI without Marchisio is better.. But with the league being pretty much a given, I'd much rather just improve the squad without weakening any aspects as it's just about making progress without taking too much risk
