This match will make us remember the heysel disaster which happen in 1985 European Cup final in Belgium.

It will be held in Anfield.
Liverpool have only 1 striker who is Baros.
Liverpool won the last won match against bolton.

Juventus won the last won match against Reggina.
Alessandro Del Piero top scorer with 14 goals.
The second leg will be in Turin.

Thoughts on match and prediction for this match-up.
Also think of a possible line-up for both teams.

It looks bad here after POPE'S death.

Exactly what italianstallion said.

NEWS FROM soccernet.

Italy all quiet out of respect for Pope

ROME, April 2 (Reuters) - All Italian sports competitions including Serie A soccer have been suspended out of respect for Pope John Paul, who is on the brink of death, the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) said on Saturday.
'In light of the latest health bulletins which indicate that the Holy Father's death is inevitable and imminent, and to respect the feelings of athletes, coaches, managers and fans...I have invited all sports federations to immediately suspend activities,' said Giovanni Petrucci, the head of CONI which oversees all Italian sports.

In Poland, the country of the Pope's birth, prayers will be held for him before football matches this weekend.

'Due to the critical state of Pope John Paul's health, the PZPN decided this weekend's first and second division matches will be preceded by prayers by the players, coaches, referees and fans,' the Polish Football Association (PZPN) said in a statement.

Several matches have also been postponed.

The Vatican said the Pope, whose long declining health took an abrupt turn for the worse on Thursday, remained in very serious condition.

CONFIRMATION: He has passed away 2 april 2005.THis is old news by soccernet.

I think the game will be played since it was the Italian FA's decision not to play games this weekend and not FIFA or UEFA...
Liverpool usually play better in Europe than in the Premier but Juventus are tough... I predict a 1-0 at Anfield and 1-1 in Italy

A 1-0 win for either side is the most likely.

I say 1-0 Liverpool, Luis Garcia. Juve will trash Liverpool in the second leg though.

I have this gut feeling that liverpool will play great in both legs, but it will go to Juventus due to some stupid mistake by liverpool.

A win for Juve isn't the most unlikely scenario but a draw wouldn't be too bad either. I saw Liverpool's game vs Bolton and they were very lucky.

If Juve play like they have so far in the important Champions League games, they will go through.

Since the Serie A games were postponed this weekend, the players on International duty would have gotten a good rest before the CL game.

Im hoping for a good incident-free game. Hopefully the fans behave.

Had Liverpool been at full strength, it wouldnt been very different. They're just too depleted, and if Juve cant get past them I'll be shocked.

One thing Liverpool has is Steven Gerrard, in my opinion he's Englands best player and maybe the best all around midfielder in the world today. They'll need monster games out of him, and as he proved against Olympiakos, he can rise to the challenge.

Hope for a Juve win, and no crowd trouble (Y)
