Fully deserved. The way Kanoute performed lately really impressed. No way Eto'o could win iit this year - he was just ijured ofr soo long. Drogba - same case, long ijury and missed like 1-2 months.

Adebayor plays flawless lately, he is the one with highest chances of winning it in 2008.

Hmmm, not sure Kanoute should have got it ahead of Drogba. Regardless of what you think of them as people Drogba is in another league ability wise to Kanoute imo.
Am in agreement with Adebayor for 2008, though it's early days yet!

i see in tv the real winer was drogba but he dont wanna leave his team and the african federation sancioned him give it the price to the 2on qualificate... how bad organizate the think this africans.....

sorry but African politics has had their say in African futbol long enough. it caused Kenya suspension, Nigeria to lose leagues and Togo to be suspended from Lome for about a year.


Politics with futbol does not mix, but Drogba has a point. i find drogba better then kanoute. as you can see by this tourney. Kanoute wasnt himself.

I know it's early but Adebayor looks like the favorite for 2008...He's just got to stop trying to punch his teammates...
