Basically, you can add a lot of stuff without messing up the DB at all. Regeneration is only needed when first installing it, there's no need for regeneration after editing stuff. But you'll understand it a lot better when you take a look at it.

What happens when you regenerate is, the program looks for all the files that you have on the folders (data/sceneassets, data/fifarna, and stuff like that), and delete their links in the .bh files, so the game will not look for them in the .bh files (which would link to the original files in the .big), and will try to load them from the folders, where your custom files are.
When you install Revolution Mod (not Revolution Mod Manager, they're separate things), you have to regen the .bh files which link to the original lua files, so they will be used from the fifarna folder. And then when making assignments, no regeneration is needed. However, if you wish to replace stuff that is included in the game already, such as boots, kits, faces, and all the graphic stuff, regeneration is needed. That doesn't happen if you assign unused IDs to them though. If the game has an adboard with the ID 10 by default, you'll need to regen for it to show up, but if you assign ID 47 (which is unused by default), there's no need to regen the game.
You probably forgot to regenerate after installing Revolution Mod, so the assignments didn't take effect as the game was still looking for the .lua files in the original .big. I hope that helps somehow.

Leo_95;3479671 said:That's weird, I thought we needed RM to use RM Manager... unless you didn't use the luas at all, but if it worked for you, whatever lol
I personally prefer to make my assignments manually, I don't use RM Manager at all, it's still very beta and some functionalities are not fully implemented.

Leo_95;3480398 said:No prob mate, but in this case I don't know as I don't mess up with pitches and stuff, I use the original ones. Well, if I'm not mistaken, you need to regenerate after adding the pitch texture to the folders.
