Leeds has been dropping a lot of their talent to other premiership teams, Dacourt was the only non-EPL sale if I recall correctly? Why would Kewell be any different?

The presumption is that because Leeds have 'broken even' with the previous sales they wouldn't need to sell him. And Kewell isn't the player you sell to a club that could come back and bite you. The thing is that he still has another year on his contract. But 6 months before the end of the next season and he may have signed for another club with no renumeration to Leeds, as such they will want to sell him for the most they can while they still can.

Oh btw, I'd heard that Dacourt had been advising the Roma staff to get Viduka, there had been some alleged interest by the club the other season, but now Dacourt has been saying he is the best 'big-striker' with quick feet, and as such advising them to get him.
