kick off ...to....desktop

Oké, I am still (after 3 days of renewing my drivers, pulling my hair out, and smashed the table ) not able to play the game. This is the first time I put so much energie and hope in playing this game. Every time I launch fifa, I get a black screen, my curson appears, and bounced back to desktop. Then I get the message:
DDHELP caused an invalid page fault in
module <unknown> at 0000:baab99e7

I went on a search on different forums, to ea (legal copy) , hercules... I updated my motherboard, graphic card, directx , soundcard. Nothing seems to work.

I'm not giving up, fifa is worth it, but .....

I see you have a hercules 7500. Thats got to be a problem because I got 8500 and the same damn thing is happening to me!

yes, that's a big bug, this time fifa is having problems with many many many video cards, and thats so boring.
on my work's pc, i updated drivers and the game ran.

but on my pc i cant find any damn new drivers, and the games crashes to desktop afte a black screen ...

The game throws me out when the match is over and I click continue or quit.I must click exit to windows and then go in the game again.The only thing I can play is freaking frendly match !!!

Check this out!
It must be something with the resolution.The menu is in 640X400 and we are playing on (at least I) 1024X... or 800X... .And when the game is changing resolution BAM - error.So I tried in game resolution 640X400 and it worked!!

Try and post the results.

what did you set your bit depth to 16 or 32? and what drivers are you using? just trying to cover all of my bases

I think it was 32? I got hercules 7.76 drivers (the latest).

Still no solution, I upgraded all my drivers, I tried it all, ddhelp is making me sick

Damn my solution didnt worked!
I thought everything is fine because it didn't crashed 2 times.
Sorry.

But I solved my Ddhelp error!

Read this if you play the game with a gamepad!

First run complete Scandisk.Restart. Uninstall gamepad(or delete it).Shut down the computer. Unplug the gamepad out of USB port.
Turn on the computer. Run the game. Set the controls and play with your keyboard

It helped for me and I can play season without errors !

Do you actually uninstall drivers before installing new ones?

That could be a problem if you don't because drivers sometimes leave files or registry settings which conflict.

Of course formatting and installing Windows will have a chance of 99% of solving the problem.

I have uninstalled the drivers and cleaned out the registry and then i installed the drivers.

I have the same problem but i don't have that error message but i do have the black screen and cursor thing
but i'm playing it on a geforce 2 mx 200 graphics card
but i have played a couple of times and the i was so happy but after a few games it just crahed back to the desktop
so i don't either know what to do and i have also installed all new drivers for almost every device in my pc
so please let someone help us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you have 4x.xx (x = im not sure ) drivers for your video device. I read somewhere that you must have 30.xx for fifa.
