juce you may remember me, i was on the scene when you were first appearing on the scene, glad to see you`re now a legend :) well deserved !!


i recently came back as a fan of this editing stuff, but im sorting troubles since i cant play with a stadium i added myself since it crashes and goes back to desktop. I added the stadium to the map text file and choosed it from the Strip Selection screen. But when im about to start a match my game crashes and goes back to desktop... Any tip?

EDIT: I`ve managed to sort the problem out by replacing the adboard file with another.... Any idea why? i`d rather play with Lyon adboards, since im now playing with some russian adboards on stade gerland lol. J know it has something to do with hd adboards, but any idea of why it does crash when using hd adboards?

good to see you. :)
technically HD-adboards are not supported, unless the adboards structure BIN also "knows" that the texture dimensions are non-standard. So, for some specially created stadiums, it's possible to use HD-adboards, but for others - it's not. Perhaps you could resize those Lyon adboards that you want? Or, you can choose one of the standard adboards from AFS, replace the textures in there, and then export that BIN to use in stadium server.

juce m8 , where can we download HD kits? i've seen a few pics but have searched and searched through google etc , but can't find any on any site , could u or somewhere else direct me to them?
also , after installing faceserver and hair server , it works , but for some reason , on some players , like man utd for example , just above the collar , at the base of the neck , there are some random white lines , i think it is part of the collar gone weird , not like a usual collar on/off mixup if thats wot ur thinking , but more just a weird little part of the collar , and it's annoying , any solutions?

i`ve done already yesterday what you said about resizing hd adboards from lyon into the old size, heh i`ve my own tricks too although im retired in this business heh

@JUCE, does this mean there will not be a fix for a 512, 12 slot rotating ad bin? OTZ's adboards for example.

Updated first post to link to lastest version of Kitserver - 6.3.3.
You can download the full release there, or just get the upgrade package. The 6.3.3 version is a bug-fix release, which fixes the "wrong-kit" problems.

Frankly, i don't know, i would have to look at that more closely. Can you describe the problem in more detail, and also if you can provide links to the OTZ's adboards, that'be great.

Game crashes when u use 12 slot. This happens when you get to Match Start screen. But if you're quick enough you can start the match before it crashes. :) 10 slot rotating works perfectly so far though. People who apply the 12 slot directly to 0_text say it works.

I got a problem. Juce please help me. When i want to start a game and after i have choose team then i got stuck for about 4 minutes then i can choose kits. But when i play online in that 4 minutes i already get disconnected with other players. If i delet the "hair" map from kitserver it work fine again, do you know what the problem is ? i has to wait 4 minutes every time i restart my computer. If i dont restart i can just wait the first time then it works ok . !!!!

In your thread in evo-web there is more info about that, juce. I answered Robbie there. It's related with faceserver & hairserver.

Also another thing: when using HD kits (i'm talking about kits with 2048x1024 resolution), it takes time to load them (like 4 seconds for kit) in the minikits section. And they fill the RAM very quickly. I tested all kits from Argentina League I have in the kitserver, they are mostly 2048x1024 kits. When I finished seeing the minikits previews for all those kits, the memory usage was over 2 GB.

Faceserver 6.3.4

This is Faceserver 6.3.4. In comparison to version 6.3.3, the following things have changed:
  • ML "my team" and search (didn't try, but possibly also works for the transfers window)
  • random selection mode
  • freezing with big facepacks (minimized)
