@Lemonman31: Yes, it should also work with the full game version.

@Roger007: You need a graphic card that supports Pixel Shader 3.0 (for lighting effects) and high quality graphic card settings to get a result like shown in the screenshot.

Nope it doesn't work on retail. You can patch the settings.exe but not the PES2008.exe . So you can choose other resolutions and settings with settings.exe, but the game will just switch to lowest possible settings.

You are right, morg. I thought Lemonman was more referring to imported graphics, such as the Nike Ball, not to kitserver 7 itself.

We just need to have some patience as Juce/Robbie are already working heavily on the tool to make it compatible for the full game.

You can remember this as a general rule: New exe, new Kitserver needed. The demo and the full version have different exe files, so we have to adjust kitserver to it. PES6 and the demo of PES2008 had different exes, so you can't use Kitserver 6 for PES2008. There was a PES6.exe v1.10 (only for Poland i think) which also needed adjustment. For game versions which work very similar, such as PES5 demo, PES5 and WE9, we can add the support for the new exe to the existing kitserver, so kitserver 5.2.3 supported all of these games. However, the first version only supported the demo, all other versions were added time after time. Btw, "new" exe doesn't mean that you can't patch some things in the exe. As long as the exe the patch is based on is supported by kitserver, the patched exe is supported too.

This now works also with my EXE, and you should be safe to use this with the demo too (although you don't have anything new there comparing to version 7.0.0a).

kitserver does not work...crashes the game back to desktop once it's installed and i select yes for high graphics.

And if you select medium it works? Well, then you can't blame kitserver for that. It can't make your pc/graphics card better than it really is. If it's not supported by the game, you usually can't select high quality. The only thing kitserver does is to disable this check, because people reported that they are able to play with higher settings than PES recommends.

Does it work with lower settings or without kitserver installed? And even if the crashes are definitly caused by Kitserver, i need more information: When does it crash, do any error messages appear and so on.

And if you start the setup.exe of kitserver again and click "remove", everything's fine, yes? Well... i think you can click on "details" in that message. Please try to collect as much details as possible (there is especially one memory address that is important, but i don't know how it's called exactly in Vista) and send me a PM with that. I got Vista from the university where i study now, but didn't install it yet. Also mine is the 32 bit version, and i could also imagine problems because of the 64 bit... Well, we'll see.
